KES IZ WE '25

Okay, so we eventually left Shhh a lot later than we originally planned because KES' Iz We didn't open when it was supposed to.  My understanding was that it opened exactly one hour later so we took our sweet time and continued drinking.

Thank God for having a driver. Sidenote: It has a lot of people who like to drive themselves in Trinidad but my question is why? You're on vacation! You tellin me you want to drink responsibly while on vacation? What is the point?  Answer down below.  Anywho. Old faithful got us to The Garden.. Listen, asking people from inside a car where 'The Garden' entrance was; was FAILURE! After two people watch us like a car full of morons, I just belch out VIP! With that the driver an all knew where to go.  The Garden sounds cutesy but not to people who didn't have an idea what we were talking about.

We reach.

Tickets scanned.

Cups were available for us upon entry.

First order of business, was FOOD.

Seeing as I wasn't too fond of the options at the prior event, we needed to eat expeditiously (in the words of T.I.).  Again with the curry. Whyyyy did everyone have curry stations this year? Is that normal? I don't recall there being so much curry last year!  Curry is something that spoils quickly depending on who cooks it, how long it sits for or if it's not stored at the right temperature. It have too many what if's to play around wid curry for carnival. Not the I.  Although it was now sundown, nah. I  still good.  The food selection was much better here! After passing the curry like a full bus, there was still a plethora of food to choose from.  And I did. After literally shoveling in X amount of mini plates, I felt that was enough to hold me (well, the liquor I was about to consume).

On to the dwanks! Listen, we read and we don't judge!  I paid X amount to come in the people Garden /VIP. I am going to eat and drink like I didn't just leave an all inclusive.

That is all.

After the belly and throat were attended to, we heard that it was showtime. Great timing! We caught a nice little spot not too close to seem like a groupie but not too far so that carnival twin's husband could see her clearly. I want to say one of the best and most memorable times of the event was when KES had lost his mic.  I believe that he didn't realize initially because of the plugs in his ears but when he realized that we couldn't hear him... hear nah! That crowd literally carried KES. He try all kinds of antics to keep the crowd going. We eventually started chanting "WE NOT HEAR-IN, WE NOT HEAR-IN". It was such an indescribable moment. One of which that KES wanted to sing for his fans and his fans yearned to help but couldn't.  That's as best as I could do as far as explaining it.  When the mic DID come back it came back with a power that electrified the entire crowd and it was on again!  I can't speak for anyone else but... I cried from the overwhelming emotion that the crowd possessed. Or maybe it was the liquor liquoring..  I loved when Lord Nelson came on the stage and get on bad lol.  Hear nah, you see music! MUSIC make that man put dong he cane yuh know?! Lol good times!

With the food stations, champagne bar, regular drinks bar and the different performances being what they were, I still felt like it was the same thing as last year and the year before that.  Allyuh, please doh crucify me.  I call it as I see it. Each year seems to be the same with the additional 2/3 chunes for the current carnival season.  Although I feel like KES' Iz We is worth it, it's not worth it to go every year.  Every other year maybe.  All in all, Iz We was cool. I'd definitely do it again BUT I will probably sit it out for 2026. (Until the early birds go on sale at the end of the year) lol.

THE SPIRIT CALLIN MEH!

Finally, a carnival mas band that has intrigued me enough to dust off the old laptop.

Imagine a band with the customer service of TRIBE (then).

The amenities of your favorite mas band.

A brunch to jump start your Carnival Monday.

Their own signature drink.

And the vibes of Island People Mas!!!

Some would say that the Island People Mas reference may not be a good one but I'm not here to argue, I said what I said and I stand on it. Island People Mas was the band with the vibes!!

Spirit made their debut Carnival 2024 and they have already made themselves some extremely loyal masqueraders and their fair share of haters.  Everyone loved the band whether you were a registered masquerader, bystander or stormer but the haters came along when it was time to register for Trinidad Carnival 2025.

Lol, what's carnival without a good ole bacchanal?

At the end of carnival 2024, owner of Spirit Mas said that his aim for 2025 was to keep the band at the same size it was for 2024. He continued to say that he wanted to keep the integrity of the band by not decreasing customer service or the quality of the band overall for a couple dollars and he meant it! I guess not enough people got that memo because when registration time came around, there were many unhappy people.  That's when the Spirit bashing begun.

I've heard that Spirit didn't care for the darker skinned people and they were looking for a certain "type" of people to let it their band...  Actually, the type they allowed to register first were the preregistered type.  The ones who took a leap on faith and played with Spirit in 2024 were the ones who were given the opportunity to preregister. Aside from that, I'd certainly like to know what "type" that was because in the registration process FOR 2024 I don't recall anyone having to send a face shot or a body picture of themselves like I've experienced in a popular carnival mas band. On the road, there were also all types of body shades, shapes and types. There was also representation for every ethnicity. People just like to complain once they've realized that they're not on the winning team and that's all I can say for that.

The countdown is on til you land on the Spirit Island....

MIAMI BROWARD JR CARNIVAL 2019

I'd love to think that it was solely my opinion on last years Junior carnival that prompted the 2019 band leaders to show out this year but it's safer to say that it was just that more people felt the same way I did.  This year we had (in no specific order):

  • BREAK AWAE KRU
  • CHINA KIDS
  • D'JUNCTION MAS JR.
  • EUPHORIA MINIS
  • FUN GENERATION TOO
  • LA FAMILIA
  • MAJOR PLAYERS INC.
  • NATURAL DISASTERS
  • PARTY ROOM SQUAD
  • ROYALTY KIDS and
  • WASSI BABES and
That was quite the improvement! Cause last year, I was too ashamed to post a list.

We got to Broward Regional Park around 3:20 but between the car line, finding a place to park and walking to the entrance I walked into the park after 4pm.  This was still a good time as my son's band was band number last. (That's been the running joke all day because we have yet to know what the numeric number was).

Walking in looked strange.
There were no children.
None.
After asking security, I was told that the children were all the way in the back.  After walking toward the back, I found them all.  I didn't understand whey none of the trucks were moving.  Nor do I know the time they actually started the parade but I was already annoyed.

After finding Wassi Babes we began to enjoy ourselves.

Overall, I liked the costumes on the road. What can I say...it was Kiddies Carnival and I enjoyed it.

Looking into the stands, I was impressed as there were more people to support the children than last year and although it rained, they stayed. This year, unlike any other year (that I've attended) it rained  cats and dogs on those children.  Wassi Babes took that rain like little bosses.  Because of when the rain fell, I know that other children were in it as well BUT I can only speak of the babies I was with.  They were band number last and understood that they had to stay in that rain to STILL wait to cross the stage.  None of them complained nor cried.  The rain did ease up but guess when it rained again.... Just as they were to cross the stage.  The excitement on their young faces and the ENERGY that they crossed the stage with made me cry.  My heart was so full!  My son, who vowed the entire time that he would not dance on stage, was one of the most energetic children on that stage.

The time, the energy and love that the Wassi Babes Team put into those children Saturday was worth it.  I did nothing but show up and I felt overwhelmed with emotion.  I can imagine how that team felt!  That feeling is what this Junior Carnival is all about.  That feeling is what each and every child should experience and every adult should feel proud the same way.  This is what makes the children fall in love with carnival, that feeling is what makes them yearn for more.  For the sake of the culture, I hope we, the parents continue to put the same energy into these children as they did on Saturday.

It starts with us.
Pass the torch.
Teach them while they are willing and their minds can be easily molded.

As for the Miami Broward Carnival Association:  I have one major issue.  Is there are valid reason the carnival started and ended so late? Please understand, more than half of these children are young. There is absolutely NO REASON to have those children out there in the hot sun (and this year in the rain) for so long.  I find that the carnival is dragged out unnecessarily and lots of what is done, doesn't need to be.  Aside from the long waits caused by the constant stopping, I have no complaints.

Let's keep this going.
Please and thanks!

THE PEOPLE'S JOUVERT! MY WEST PALM BEACH JOUVERT EXPERIENCE......

When I first saw this event advertised, I wasn't going. I didn't feel to drive 45 minutes to an hour for a jouvert that hasn't been established.  It was the first of what I understood to be an annual event and with many firsts, there is always good and bad.  The good is that there's usually LOTS of funding and everything is always on point and is given to patrons in abundance.  The bad is that this is normally where lots of the hiccups happen and they learn for future events.  So with that being said, I will get into the reason you tuned in.

Trudy of Carnival Faces enlightened me to her involvement in the #ThePeoplesJouvert movement and that automatically peaked my interest. Not only because she is one of the few that is trying to preserve the culture but she is one that I truly consider a friend. Fast foward to collection.  As media, I had no collecting to do but my team was able to conveniently collect.  There was no line, mishaps or headaches.
Not too bad.
The packages included:
  • A drawstring bag to fit everything into
  • A checklist
  • A plastic bag which had your powder
  • Your teeshirt/bodysuit
  • Reject linen *the orange bag you see
  • A whistle
  • A mask
  • Meal chit
  • Cup
  • Telephone case
About this package.  It was decent enough, no real complaints but a few observations.
  1.  The bag was decent enough.
  2.  The reject linen idea. I appreciated not having to take one of my heavy duty black garbage bags to sit on afterward and that they actually thought of masqueraders here. LOVE.
  3. The bodysuit snapped in the crutch. Those who planned on wearing stockings had to either not wear it or come up with another option.  One of my friends ripped it and sew it back together and the other just didn't wear it. Thing is, it snags the stockings. Personally, I don't wear stockings on the road whether jourvert or carnival so I was good.
  4. The meal chit given was made of paper.  Paper anything at a jouvert doesn't mix.  By the time I was ready to eat my chit was destroyed by water and paint and was in pieces.
  5. The cup was "moody".  It changed color by temperature.  That wasn't expected and was a pleasant surprise.  It's the little things with me.  Best of all, the cup was covered. This jouvert I didn't have to fight with the paint or the powder while having my drink.
  6. We expected the telephone case to be one of those plastic waterproof cases but it was actually a sealed plastic bag courtesy of Great Value. Hear nah, we all laughed! BUT that is actually the best thing to protect your phone while at a jouvert after those waterproof cases. Telephone cameras work excellent while in them. It was just the shock factor of what we were expecting vs what we got....

Small thing.  Jouvert is not a fashion show. We go with the intention of getting dirty but it was worth mentioning.

On to the event itself.

I can't remember the time we got to the venue but the sun was up.  I want to believe we got there around 7:30 and hung out drinking and talking a bit and walked in around 8.  For 3 of us on the team, there was a problem with the green wristbands for the drinks.  They weren't snapping closed propertly. The solution was to give us a yellow wristband for our writsts, tie the green wristband somewhere on our person and keep our cups.  Sounded good to me.

As we walked in, we were greeted by a paint station.
Here you picked your color poison.  There was just enough water in the paint to not make it stick (or smell, thank God).  We made several trips to this station.
When I saw the size of the bar, I figured that within the next hour or two that it would be a problem getting a drink but it never was.  As soon as I approached the bar, I was attended to immediately. There was honestly NEVER a line.  Whenever there was a crowd at the bar, you came to quickly realize that the crowd was just liming there and not waiting to be served.

I am not sure of all the DJ's as I only got there by 8 or so but I got there in time to hear Jay Dot, Rocksteady, DJ Bonez, House Arrest and DJ J Rocca.
The DJ who played the rap/hip hop is the only one that I could have gone without hearing.  Don't know who exactly it was but he played rap and slow songs and said it was "for the ladies".  Hear nah, I'm a lady and had no desire to hear the slow songs. I patronized the rap/hip hop but that too I could have done without.  This is JOUVERT and no matter how you'd like to spin in, JOUVERT is a Caribbean event and we want to hear CARIBBEAN music. Period.  There were those that fully enjoyed it but for me personally, I did not. Then there was the neverending struggle for DJ's.  DJ House Arrest had to keep the crowd's attention when newer soca selections were being played so he had to resort to the commercial songs but I understood that it had to be done as he learned the crowd.  I thank God that he didn't have to go so deep to play "Palance".  In closing, when the truck began to move DJ J Rocca was playing and as it was near to the end, he let loose on the newer songs.  The song that mash up the place for me was:
CLICK HERE TO LISTEN!

All in all, The People's Jouvert in West Palm Beach was great.  West Palm Beach Police said that "this was the easiest festival" they've had to manage. Job well done guys, you get an 9 out of 10 (from me). The event was SAFE and without incident or injury. I thought this was going to be an annual thing but the birdies have told me that it will be twice a year and not trying in any way to compete with the Miami Carnival jouvert in October.  This is just something to scratch the jouvert itch that many of us have.  I plan on being there for the rest. West Palm Beach, I didn't know allyuh had it in yuh!!!!

FANTASY FEST, THE CARIBBEAN INVASION

GOOD DAY TO YOU ALL!!!

It's quite the coincidence that this blog be written the day of Halloween seeing that it's partly the celebration of the dead because I, the spirit of DCARNIVALBABY is writing her blog today as she in fact died on Saturday.  I don't know where she got the idea to play young knowing full well she can't manage.  Well, she made the grave mistake of attending the bus ride held by #TeamKelz to Key West for their Fantasy Fest parade and she just..........
never made it back.  There is nothing but her shell and me, her spirit left.  Her hands, ache.  Her legs, sore.  The sole of her feet, numb. Her neck, damn near broken. Head, throbbing.  Voice, gone.  Down to her fingers hurt.  How do fingers hurt? Let me backtrack.

When DCARNIVALBABY first saw the flyer, she was excited seeing as she's never been to Key West.  Ever.  Everything was set up in two two's and all she had to do was wait for Saturday morning.
That morning was drama but she was determined.  There was who didn't want to sleep and stayed up drinking, who was nursing a hangover, those who forgot to sleep and the one who got lost.  Thank God #TeamKelz knows the crowd they were dealing with and never left at the advertised time (which was 6:30).  She pulled up with Lucky, her brother from another mother, her Dominican friend/sister Saphire and some friends.  The combination alone was mad, then to meet up with PJ an Kelz smh.

The original plan was to pack all headpieces and backpacks under the bus then catch about an hour or two nap (seeing as she is the one who forgot to sleep the night before).  *Little did she know that under the bus would have been the only place on that bus to get sleep.  Needless to say, the nap never happened because the bus was pumping by 7:30.  The music was played by PJ, Lucky was on drums and Kelz was the emcee.  Somewhere around 8:30/8:45 the bus pulled off (or so they were told) 'cause between the drinks, food and vibes....no one bothered to check the time.

As the bus pulled off Simi started serving a variety of finger foods.  It was a good idea to serve the types of food they did because it helped to soak up the fruit flavored alcohol Popsicle's, the liquor being consumed and there was still a very long way to go.  Simi.....  She's a sweetheart but every single time Simi got out of her seat, she had a tray.  From about 7:30ish til the bus parked in the parking lot down in Key West, Ms Simi and her team of fat food distributors handed out:
  • Fruity Popsicle's with alcohol (I need DCARNIVALBABY to get that recipe).
  • Roast bake with buljol (saltfish mixed with tomato, onion and seasonings of choice)
  • Cheese paste sandwiches
  • Pastries from Vicky's (guava, meat,etc)
  • Chicken Peleau (Rice, stewed chicken and pigeon peas cooked down in seasonings and coconut milk) that's the best description I could give.
  • Tub of fruit (fruits soaked in everyone's drinks)
  • Home made orange/grapefruit juice
  • FULLY STOCKED BAR
People were supposed to eat the fruits for their nutritional value and keep the energy levels up......meanwhile they soaked them in their drinks.  The bin started off three quarters full of fruits.  Could you imagine the amount of 'nutrition' they got?
It's as if they didn't care that the ladies on the bus had carnival costumes to change into because the food kept coming and DCARNIVALBABY ain't like nothing better.  She didn't let a tray pass. As you received your second drink, your first cup was discarded and replaced with a #TeamKelz Ent souvenir cup.  Great touch for a bus ride!  DCARNIVALBABY is sentimental like that and saves everything so I know she was pleased.

 KEY WEST
Once the bus got to Key West everyone jumped off and scattered like ants.  The bus cleared out quickly which was fine, here is where DCARNIVALBABY started feeling the effects of those soaked fruits in the alcohol so she changed on her own time, in peace as she and her friends got their Jones.   Once the changing of the clothes and the normal picture taking was over, it was time to take in some scenery. At this point, DCARNIVALBABY still had her senses but she seemed to have almost lost them when she saw Santa Claus...
The parade begins at 7pm (white people time) so by 7:40 when they met the #TeamKelz truck the parade had already started. I remember her thinking that the music was low and the same some song on repeat and not understanding why.  It was when the truck actually hit the road the music turned up, DJ Back To Basics engaged the crowd and the songs started to roll out.  It was like nothing she'd seen before.  The spectators actually stayed behind their barricades while the masqueraders reveled in the road.  It got a little cramped because people who came down on buses that know the routine, didn't care about letting the masqueraders play the ass their mas on the road.  Somehow however, it worked. It wasn't overbearing and there was ample space for masquerader and vagabond alike lol.

I will fill you in on a little secret.  Don't tell her I told you all but, she was disappointed with the way Back To Basics played which is surprising because she normally loves the set and this was the first time she was disappointed.  Imagine, she and her friends were putting on quite the show for some spectators when "Freaky Girls" started to play when all of a sudden there was talking.  Then some more talking.  Next thing you know, "Freaky Girls" finished playing.  The ladies stood up like statues waiting for the pull up but there wasn't one. They played the biggest chune for the Miami Carnival season, talked straight through it and never replayed it...WHERE DO THEY DO THAT?!  At this point, DCARNIVALBABY was done and just chipped for the remaining of the route.  When the parade was over, it was abrupt.  There was an announcement that the parade was over and we were in the middle of the road like rubbish.  The police made the sound cut completely off and were instructed to say no more.  The masqueraders and vagabond alike all looked lost.  If they weren't, they looked it.  They had to all walk back to the bus, with no direction or music.  I believe that is where I took over and DCARNIVALBABY checked out.

Once back on the bus, there came Simi again with food.  Food? People wanted to make one with the inside of their eyelids and didn't care for food but some of the greedy bandits STILL ate.  (DCARNIVALBABY included) I wouldn't name any names but some people fell asleep while eating.  Aye, that bus was vibes!!!

All in all, I believe that once #TeamKelz is having another ride next year [please God] she's there because the vibes on the bus alone is enough inspiration to go back.  As for her lifeless body, we will see when or if it revives.  One piece of advice, if you don't have the vibes or the stamina, #TeamKelz bus is not for you! For any and all things #TeamKelz, you can always log on to the TeamKelz Entertainment Website, www.TeamKelz.com!

Ask DCARNIVALBABY lol
Hope I did well in her absence.

TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO 2016

As I sit at my desk at work I'm in disbelief.  For two reasons really.  I had no plan on being here this morning because I plans for my PowerBall winnings. BIG PLANS! Don't judge me. I had $10 and a million dreams and the other because I just hung up from one of the strangest phone call I've received for the year. Well, we are only 12 days into the year however it was still the strangest phone call that I've had.
My friends and I are a diverse bunch of individuals and what bonds us together is our love, our passion and damn near borderline obsession with carnival and all associated with it.  So imagine my surprise when I got that call, less than a month away from the greatest show on Earth that my entire crew has bowed out of carnival 2016.  They have each purchased costumes, boots to perfectly match, some have had them customized others not so much and biggest of all, airline tickets booked!  Some as early as April of last year.  Yet the crew.  The whole crew.  The 'die-hards'.  The 'psychos' (as we have been frequently referred as) have all bowed out and said that carnival isn't making any sense this year.

WAIT.
WHAT?
THE WHOLE TEAM?!

While listening in silence to hear who died or what other life threatening emergency had come up, God forgive me but the very first thought was, YESSSSS!  I wasn't going to be the only person out of the crew missing out on carnival 2016 even better, NO ONE IS GOING!!  Never in a million years would I have thought I'd be missing carnival for a reason outside of pregnancy and to now be hearing that my entire crew would be doing the same was outstanding!  The second coming had to be near. My secret prayers have been answered! ***and no, no one was dying. :-)

One of the reasons given was that the music sucks big time and they just couldn't get into the carnival spirit all how they tried.  Seeing as I have only heard one - that "Advantage Reshuffle" that I think Machel name "Waiting On The Stage" or something so, I should be the last person to judge BUT if that was his 'big chune' for 2016 I can not say much for the music.  Another reason was cost.  What they normally paid for a Frontline costume was now the price of a Backline and the Frontline costs were just not worth it.....to them.  They would have paid it under other circumstances but with everything looking so dim again, it wasn't worth it.  I'd like to believe my absence played a part of the decision making but no one will admit to that....YET.  Thankfully they were playing in a popular band coupled with carnival stalkers on Fine Ah Ban' so costume deposits have all been retrieved. Nothing but boots money lost and that, we can always recycle.

There were several more reasons given and I found them to be just and if they were all true, I agreed with them all.  Admittedly, I haven't been following the 2016 soca nor have I been stalking any of the carnival bands' websites.  There was no need.  What would have I been comparing to?  My costume? Which costume?  The one making just for me, that I am obsessing over yet haven't seen? Anyway, I've tucked carnival away so far I an all needed a reminder every now and again about this year because the focus is solely carnival 2017.

Do I sound like a hater? LOL
All who going, enjoy!
All staying, ah dey wid allyuh!

*Let me know how your carnival experience is shaping up and send me your experiences. Pictures would GREAT!  See all correspondence to deecarnivalbaby@gmail.com.

THE UNHAPPY MASQUERADER UPDATES US ON HER AHDRENALIN MAS ROAD EXPERIENCE

We're just going to jump right in......
"My thoughts on #ahdrenalinmas! First off every vincy advised me that since mirage ( a MAS band in VINCY was not coming out I should sit this out) Truth be told I am a carnival BABY from since I was small...there is NO way I was going to sit out playing mas. I figured it cannot be that bad. I registered and paid my costume in FULL the day after the costumes launched since March.  I arrived in ST.VINCENT FRIDAY and headed to the mas camp. I saw people still Making mas. OK when I asked about my section I was told not ready yet. The next day same thing. The foolishness went on until CARNIVAL TUESDAY morning. I received a bra that was 10 times my size.A barely decorated bra and panty. This costume won't even be a decent MONDAYwear costume in Trinidad (not comparing but it was that bad) A backpack with no foam, thing to bruise skin. All masqueraders know what I mean! Ok my friends encourage me to still play mas despite all the issues! I went on the road. The drinks in my section flowed like water! ( I have NO issues there) the music truck BROKE DOWN in the road! So they told us to go to the lunch stop. The band was at the rest stop for about 3 hours! I had to take a wine in the other bands! Big up NELSON BLOCK!!!! The music truck did not get back on the road until about 6pm! After that we jump with them until about 11pm. I try my best not to compare carnivals but this experience was CRAZY! I had fun but ahdrenalin and its team need to do better. My suggestion have a mechanic on board and make sure and inspect the truck. As far as the costumes woes the people need to at least do damage control because you know the costumes was a hot mess before you packed it let us KNOW. I guess it was partly my fault for not walking with gems and a glue gun! The best part of this experience was the bottle of wine I received in my package. My section leader tried her best. She did offer me a full refund and big up the guy in the mas camp who tried to fix my backpack. I know they say never say never..but Ahdrenalin not my money! There are so many bands in VINCY to choose from. I hope you fix your issues next year!" - Unhappy Masquerader

Unhappy Masquerader received this letter today via email.
Would this be enough for YOU?
Would you give the band a second chance?
Or would you move on?

UNHAPPY MASQUERADER WITH AHDRENALIN MAS BAND

"Band: Ahdrenalin. Section: Golden Empire. So apparently this section is the Premium and VIP experience. I registered and paid in FULL the day after the band launch. I arrived in Vincy on July 3rd and went directly to the camp and was told there is no information on pick up of costume. Returned the day after no information. I went in early yesterday morning and was told to call the person responsible for the section. She informed me that she was "too busy" and that I will get it after 6pm today (today is CARNIVAL MONDAY also known as MONDAY JAM in St. Vincent). I went to a fete, went back to my hotel and was ready to call this whole Vincy mas playing experience OFF! My boyfriend went in, picked up an incomplete costume where he was told that I should come back on Tuesday ( the day of mas for my missing pieces). How much longer are masqueraders supposed to deal with this foolishness?" - Unhappy Masquerader
*costume as advertised

*what was collected
At the very least, said masquerader could have received strings to put on her costume.

D-JUNCTION PACKAGES HAVE BEEN GENEROUSLY UPDATED!

D-Junction made a package update that they weren't ready to reveal until recently.  The information was always 'coming soon' and it was only yesterday that I took the time out to actually READ what was being offered in this package.  D-Junction Mas has always said that their goal was to have a band that offered an Ultra Exclusive Carnival Experience and they are seemingly aiming to please.  There is a carnival kickoff party named "iSoca". I admittedly fell off the party scene for a little while now so I can not tell you whether this is a must go event or not but to all who will be playing mas with D-Junction Mas, admission to that event will be FREE!  The All Inclusive Event "FEVER" will also be a free event to all D-Junction masqueraders and this one I can tell you, is amazing!

The costumes, security and park entry are a given as these things go without saying BUT the band is also promising breakfast, lunch and snacks.  The sound system will be SoundRev Media and the DJ's are hands down some of the best which are DJ Barrie Hype, Ryan Sayeed. Jester and Majestic. There will be a goodie bag filled with lots of treats and giveaways and most importantly, a D-Junction Mas' signature cup to accommodate your unlimited liquor.

*I'm not sure if you noticed on the flyer but it says that all Frontline costumes that come with a full headpiece will include a tiara.  That is unheard of!!  This package to date is the best that I've heard thus far seeing as some of these things, I've only gotten in New York and Trinidad.  So far so good D-Junction Mas.

Just in case you've forgotten what their costumes look like here is a quick wrap up!
