Trini Mafia presents “Time to Wine” The Soca Algorithm
The Trini Mafia crew has come out with their first mid-year release with “Time to Wine”
This year was obviously an epic year in Soca which drove the Trini Mafia crew to come out with a Soca Mix for everyone to get caught up with the 2011 madness. Quote: "We are tired of coming back to the U.S after carnival and the local Dj’s still playing road march from 2 and 3 years back. We decided to push this out for everyone to be in unison on what was really hot and what we think the public needs to hear. Local Dj’s are the ones who dictate what the public should be listening too in the clubs forum, however we believe that has now changed with the technology that we now have at our finger tips".
So the team that brings to you The Miami Carnival Itinerary every year has now released “Time to Wine” the Soca Algorithm. The Dj who mixed this session is Barnabus with the assistance of Jus Bodie. Who is the original DJ of most of the Miami Carnival Mixes. The mix was MCee’d by Ravi Rav and Larry-Hoe your community celebrity’s/Superstars.
Time to wine is a collective effort from the Trini Mafia to bring Soca to you and promote the culture.

Be on the lookout for the Miami Carnival Itinerary 2011. This is the 9th year that Trini Mafia will be doing this CD. It began when emails and phone calls got to be overwhelming for the link up of members from all over the country/world in October for the Carnival. So Ravi Rav decided to put the whole Itinerary on a mix and give to all who needs it. It is the most sought after mix of the season because of this. Don’t miss out. NOT A PROMOTION. Just some fellas that like to lime. It’s all the hottest Soca for Carnival in Miami along with a day by day itinerary of events, where to get tickets and even Mas Costumes. Call them early and link up for a drink they are very accommodating, always rolling with the hottest girls and partying hard!!!
Ravi Rav is the mastermind behind the CD and the one responsible for the logistics. Originally from Jamaica, Queens NY, he does this as a hobby and for the love of his culture. Ravi feels that "Money and popularity are for new- jacks". Ravi feels that money would taint the movement and create negativity in the music. So the Trini Mafia bank rolls all their projects as a collective with its many members. This acquisition of artists to make appearances, (believe it or not) is done by a hand shake or phone call rather than money. The connections run deeper than Soca. But those we will leave for another blogging day. He also does great radio advertisements if needed. Yes that’s the voice you heard that one time. Wink Wink!!! LOL
Larry-Hoe is New York native who has been on every mix tape done in the past 9-10 years. He is the voice behind the music. Larry Hoe is a business owner that joined up on various projects to help promote “WE” nothing else. If you ever have a chance to get to The Dungeon you will understand what I mean.
Barnabus who is the featured DJ started mixing music at a very young age in Trinidad and was mainly influenced by DJ greats such as Rennie B and Rockin Randy. In the late 80's he moved to Queens, NY and took his skills further by remixing various types of music. This talent landed Barnabus to be the house dj at various night clubs in Queens and made numerous guest dj appearances on radio. Currently Barnabus is in Miami and is still continues his legacy of master mixing music. Checkout the PodOmatic -----> HERE <-----
Jus-Bodie also from NY, started playing music in the early 2000’s where he built the Trini Mafia Studios as a hobby and a spot of the team to relax and enjoy outings. He now produces commercial advertisements for radio and lives in the Miami area also.
The mastering was done by Spellkaster Kain of RSC in Pebblerock Studio, South Florida. Kain has been the business of production and studio management for over 10 years in many different aspects. He has worked on a lot different projects with the team and big name stars are a norm for him. He is also an international beat maker. You will see him or hear him again soon we promise.
