PIRATE PARTS X

Pirate Parts boat ride is one of Trinidad's events that isn't heavily promoted or costly but the vibes and energy is top tier! This year Pirate Parts not only celebrated it's 10th year on the sea but it fell on my birthday! 

I get annoyed with Giselle's promotion (or lack thereof) because her events are so good and she genuinely tries *along with her mom, to nurture the culture.  Keep the very essence/core of the carnival culture alive if you will but.... this boat ride needs no promotion. It good juss so. It's like her own carnival baby.  A boat intimately filled with her close friends and loved ones.

Upon entering, you were braced with a complementary shot (of your choice).  

There was Absolut Grapefruit, Jack Daniel's Tennessee Honey, White Oak and Mr Puncheon!

This boat ride is always a yes for me and it's always great to see those I wouldn't get a chance to see otherwise.  Here are a few of them.
