I know I'm extremely late but as the saying goes, better late than never.

How do you feel about Rihanna's new video?  I have two minds about it.  The video has clearly shown that she's a bad bitch but is this the kind of violence we need to be seeing with everything going on in the world today? I don't know.....take a look and see for yourselves.

In my Drunken Love singing voice, "I've been digging, I've been digging". Now that I have the proof that "I" was looking for I am good. I am over with this story and I would like it to go away by Sunday.  Hoping for Friday but hey, it's Jay-Z and B! Let's start Monday fresh and stop with all the commentary.  It was amusing and we've all had our chuckles but it's been beaten to death and needs to be put to rest because if the shoe was on the other foot (and in this case the purse/weapen) and Jay-Z would have been the attacker, it would have been an entirely different story.

Well, my readers can attest to the fact that I've said since I saw the above picture AND then when the elevator footage aired, that I believed Rihanna had something to do with it.  Not that I 'blamed' her at all but Jay just has a thing for Caribbean/Creole women! Let's not forget that not too long ago, it has been alleged that these two disliked one other because of the cheating allegations. You know, the one that Jay-Z had been helping himself to some Rihanna. It is also alleged that the steamy affair is what prompted Beyonce to write songs such as "Irreplaceable" and "Ring The Alarm".

Maybe I should stop checking my email, cause when I do, I find dumb ass stories like this!

When do we say enough is enough?  I mean, this girl has been through enough and its to the point now where even her mesh looking sweater is a problem.  I get it and I borderline understand where some of these 'critics' are going with this but at the end of the day, Rihanna is a grown ass woman and they're doing as if SHE birthed all those children that are 'looking up to her'.  What they need to understand is that role models aren't found in superstars or people you see on television but the same women they're probably cursing out and disrespecting AT HOME.  Their mothers, aunts, grandmothers, sisters, etc.  I wished people would stop blaming and pointing fingers at all the wrong people.  Rihanna is LIVING HER LIFE and has the money to do it in any way she chooses.  Sure, covering up a little more would be more tasteful but SHE DIDN'T, GET OVER IT!  If people don't like what she is wearing, simply don't look! I'm wondering if all this negative publicity she is getting now is because of her on again off again reconciliation with Chris Brown?   Could that be it?  That's another can of worms that I won't even get into right now but as for the girl clothes, they need to hop off her *@^$!  Half ah dem mad they can't pull off half the things that Bajan girl can.  Talk done!

I fall in and out of love with Rihanna with each 'scandal' her name is involved in but this just goes to show just WHY I can not fall OUT of complete love with her.  Rihanna has gone home to play mas and I just love her for it. 

Now if only we could get Nicki Minaj to come Trinidad for carnival LOL

RIHANNA JUDGED FOR 'MAN DOWN' VIDEO

Well yes, you're dammed if you do and you're dammed if you don't.

News hitting me that RiRi is once again in the news for abuse.  This time however she is not only the victim but she is the victim that 'strikes back'.   Look, I don't know what these people in this here America want.  They don't want this and they don't want that. This video (in my opinion) is only showing a glimpse of what really happens in the real world! It has women out there that can not take any more and do eventually attack, strike back and in some cases kill their partners because of abuse! I could understand if she were promoting this as A POSITIVE behavior but she isn't! She is really and truly telling a story of what happened and how sympathetic she is.

Rihanna isn't one of my favorite entertainers but she damm sure has my vote on this video.  Its not dark/ demonic looking like some previous works that I've seen and it has taken me back, like 80's back. When videos were just that, videos that played the song and had a simple story to go with it!
